Executive Board
Election & Qualifications
Executive are elected by the Membership at the end each season during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and all positions are for a 2 year term.
Members elected to an Executive Board position must meet the minimum requirements in order to stand for election of a Board position and must remain a member in good standing within the League for the duration of his elected term.
President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer,Scorekeeper/Web-Admin:
Must have served a minimum of 2 years as a Board member or 4 years league experience.
**the positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Scorekeeper/Web-Admin require specific skills and knowledge relevant to the position**
Directors:
Minimum of 1 year League experience.
Honourariams will be paid to each Board member upon approval of the Membership during the AGM and are capped as follows: President – $250; Vice-President – $200; Treasurer – $300; Secretary – $300; Web/Admin-Scorekeeper – $300; Directors – $125.


Committees/Format Liasons
From time to time, the Executive may appoint members to Committees as may be required in the interest of the League.
Division/Format Liasons may be appointed by Executive vote to address any issues within the division/format or to assist with division tournaments.
These are volunteer positions and are for the duration of the season.

Val Wilson
President

Biography
Current team: "Public Enemies" in the Premier division. Val joined the League in 1996 and served as Director for three terms and as the Vice-President for 3 years. Elected to the position of President in 2022, this is Val's second term as President. In 2024, Val was promoted to the status of Life Member. Val has been involved in the development of youth players in the London area as a coach and mentor for the London Youth Dart League.
The Role of the President (2 year term)
The President presides at all meetings of the League and performs any and all duties incidental to his office including chairing the year end banquet. The immediate Past President may be present at all Executive Board meetings and be seated with the Executive Board, at all other meetings; he will be present in an advisory capacity. The Past President may have voting privileges only at the Chairman’s invitation.

Current team: "Off Constantly" in the Second Division. After being asked to assume a vacant Director position in 2015, Dave was elected to the position in 2016 and served five consecutive terms as Director. Elected to the position of Vice-President in 2022, this is Dave's second term as Vice-President. Dave is involved in the development of youth players in the London area as a coach and mentor for the London Youth Dart League.
The Role of the Vice-President (2 year term)
The Vice-President shall, in the absence of the President or in the case of his inability to act, perform all duties pertaining to the office of the President. If the office of the President becomes vacant, he shall preside until the League elects a new President. The Vice-President is also responsible for chairing the Banquet Committee and may be asked to sit in on other committees as required.

Biography
Current team: "Off Constantly" in the 2nd Division. Dave joined the League in 1996 and is a Life Member. He was initially elected to the Executive as a Director in 1998 and was then asked to assume the vacant position of Treasurer, a position he has consecutively held since. Along with his wife Denise, Dave is directly involved in the development and mentoring of London area youth players while running the London Youth Dart League. Dave also currently holds the position of Treasurer for the Western Ontario Dart Association (WODA).
The Role of the Treasurer (2 year term)
The Treasurer holds the sole responsibility of all League funds including deposits and withdrawals. He will prepare monthly reports and present them at each Executive meeting as well prepare an annual report to be presented at the AGM, describing all income and expenditures in full detail. Following the seating of the new Executive Board, he will provide the new board with a financial reportfor the previous season that has been audited by a Financial Review committee of three (3) members of the League appointed annually. The Treasure is expected to have working knowledge of accounting as well as basic computer skills and the ability to use financial software.

Biography
Current team: "Bulls Deep" in the Premier Divison. Rob joined the League in 2011 and notes that beside meeting all the new and amazing people involved with our League and other leagues, he is proud that his dart game has improved steadily year after year due to his involvement with the League. Rob joined the Executive in 2022 as a Director and was asked to take over as Secretary for the 2023-2024 season as the previous Secretary had to step down. Elected to the position in 2024, this is Rob's first full term as Secretary.
Directors: 4 positions (2 year term)
The Secretary is responsible for all communications in and out of the league and is the focal point for contact if there are issues.

Andrew Ferguson

Biography
Current team: "Whiskey Business" in the 2nd Divison-B. Andrew joined the League in 1995 and was elected to the position of Director in 2011. He was asked to assume the vacant position of Scorekeeper/Web-Admin later that same year and then was elected to the position in 2013 and has held the position consecutively since. In 2023, Andrew was promoted to the status of Life Member. Andrew has been involved in the running of non LDMDL dart leagues; played a key role in the development of the Singles League and has fielded a successful team of mostly new players to the League. During his term, he has implemented improvements to the League website and has increased the League's worldwide presence with the creation of the LDMDL Facebook page.
The Role of the Scorekeeper/Web-Admin (2 year term)
The Scorekeeper/Web-Admin is responsible for keeping and maintaining all records relating to both the Team and Singles leagues standings as well as maintaining and updating the League website and Facebook page. He is also responsible for creating the schedules for both the Team and Singles leagues at the beginning of each season. The Scorekeeper/Web-Admin is expected to have intermediate to expert computer skills as well as a working knowledge of spreadsheet and document editing software as well as web page design/editing software.

Current team: "Old Guys" in the 1st Division. Rick has once again agreed to fill the position of Ombudsman.
The Role of the Ombudsman (appointed yearly)
The Ombudsman is not a member of Executive but is a league member appointed by the President yearly and is responsible for providing impartial assistance between all parties having business with the League. Should any member of the league feel they have a valid concern or complaint that needs addressing or to be discussed, the Ombudsman can be contacted to provide assistance or guidance.
